Option #1: How is it Medicine? ~ Anya Tyutyunik with Anya’s Practice
In this inspiring workshop we’ll expand on the meaning of health, the process of healing, and explore the concept of “medicine” by looking to anthropology, history and the culture of medicine itself. We’ll discuss how health and disease are impacted, not only by the imbalances in the body, mind, and spirit, but also environmental factors, cultural forces, family dynamics and connection (or lack of) to our earth and beyond. By deepening our concepts of wellness and healing we’ll learn how to trust ourselves to make more powerful, intuitive healing decisions that are not based in fear or on standardized “scientific and heroic medicine” models.
This workshop offers access to substantial, practical information on how to search for a holistic practitioner and how to widen your path into natural healing medicine (or non-medicine) that fundamental heals in the most profound ways.

Art Session – Mandala , weaving your dreams
Hosted by Taya
Mandala is one of the oldest symbols known by humans. In many cultures, mandala represents the structure of the world. The tradition of weaven mandalas comes from Central and Southern America. American Indians believe that by weaving a mandala you are not only creating a beautiful work of art, you also weave your life as you want it to be. You weave your deepest desires, bringing them closer to realization. You weave your own inner world, getting answers to your questions and improving the vision of obstacles that disturb the flow of life. You weave yourself, getting to know yourself better.
The yarn weaven mandalas, Ojos de Dios (God’s Eyes) originate from the Huichol tribe in the Sierra Madre mountains in Mexico. The Huichol call them ‘Sikuli’, which means “the power to see and understand things unknown.”
Session 3 – 3:45 pm – 5:00 pm

Embody the sacred feminine through the 5Rhythms movement/dance practice. To find your dance is to find yourself, at your most fluid and creative level. While the practice itself is the essence of simplicity, it has the power to catalyze deep healing and creative expression. The primary teaching of this work is: If you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself. http://www.staceybutcher.com
