Tenrikyo is a religion and way of life based on the teachings of God the Parent, shared with all human kind through Oyasama, our foundress and “beloved mother.” The teachings originated from what is believed as the home of creation for all human beings- Ojiba in Nara, Japan. It is said that God the Parent spoke through Oyasama the teaching that human beings were created to live The Joyous Life. A life free from illness. One way to achieve this is to administer or receive the “Sazuke” prayer. The Sazuke is a singing prayer using gentle hand motions over the afflicted area of the body.

Alisha became a Yoboku in 2005, and has been administering the Osazuke for nearly 14 years. She looks forward to meeting you!
